Lance Herndon, J.D., CMA
Senior Case Manager-Intake SpecialistMr. Herndon has spent 25 years in law, finance, taxation, tax resolution, debtor's rights and regulatory
compliance. Lance is a former tax attorney and member of numerous tax related organizations. He holds
a J.D. (Law) degree from the University of Montana (1993), a B.A. degree in Business Administration
(with honors), and a Certified Managerial Accounting Accredidation. Lance has been a partner and
principal in several companies. He was managing COO for a bulk medical A/R purchasing group capitialized
by NY hedge funds. This skill set allows him to advise business clients on tax settlement and tax
avoidance methodologies.
During the economic downturn, Lance worked on a Department of the Treasury program helping debtors
retain their homes. Mr. Herndon has spent 25 years advocating for the consumer representing clients
against corporate, government and special interests.
Extensively trained in tax resolution and IRS code, Lance possess exception analytic skills and case
analysis techniques that enable him to provide tax settlment strategies that elude most.
In his free time Lance is involved in charity work, in particular the Humane Society of the United
States.

David Bjornson, J.D., LLM, CPA
Tax Attorney, Masters in Taxation, CPAMr. Bjornson has spent his 34 year legal career specializing in tax litigation, tax planning, business
organizations, and dispute resolution. Mr. Bjornson is senior partner of Bjornson Law Offices, a
distinguished firm established in 1998. He was formerly with Garlington, Lohn & Robinson, and
Seattle law firms of Monahan & Biagi and Bogle & Gates, a large 200+ attorney firm.
Prior to law school David was employed as a Certified Public Accountant by the international accounting
firm Touche Ross & Co. He holds a Masters of Laws degree in taxation from the New York University
(1988), a J.D. degree (with honors) from the University of Montana (1985), a B.A. deree in Business
Administration (with honors) from the University of Montana (1979), and a Certified Public Accountant
Certificate. He is admitted to practice before the United States Tax Court, the U.S. Federal District
Court and is a member of the American Association of Attorneys-Certified Public Accountants. David
is honored in the 2013-2016 editions of Best Lawyers in America. The Best Lawyers in America selects
attorneys based on comprehensive survey from thousands of top lawyers in the U.S.

Paul J. Petit, J.D.
In-House CounselMr. Petit’s career spans 45 years of practice in Chicago and Missoula, Montana. He is currently a sole practitioner
specializing in business and technical litigation. He practiced in Chicago from 1973 through 1990, specializing
in business litigation primarily in the Federal Courts, including class action and complex cases, with
a number of firms. He moved to Missoula in 1990 leaving his partnership in the 120+ lawyer firm of Altheimer
& Gray to establish his own practice in Montana. Since 1990, he has been a practicing trial lawyer
in Missoula, with a brief stint as General Counsel for Tri-City Railroad in Kennewick, WA.
He earned a J.D (highest honors, 1973) from Loyola University of Chicago Law School after receiving Honors
Program B.S. degrees in Biology and Chemistry from Loyola University (1968). He was certified as a Trial
Practice Instructor by the National Institute of Trial Advocacy (1987) and has participated as instructor
in courses training practicing lawyers. He has also been on the adjunct faculty of Northwestern University
School of Law, Loyola University School of Law and the University of Montana Law School.
Mr. Petit has been involved in the negotiation and settlement of hundreds of legal claims during his
career and received mediator certification from the Northwest Mediation Center in 2014.
